๐ Proudly serving our Firebirds in Golden, Colorado. We're your all-volunteer PTA โ a 501(c)(3) partnering with families, teachers and staff to make every child's potential a reality.
Here's how this year's budget breaks down.
Wondering why we ask you to join and to give? Your $22 membership doesn't buy the field trip. It buys the organization that makes the field trip possible โ the legal standing, the insurance, the volunteers, the vote. Then the other 95% of our budget pays for the trip.
Every family makes Fairmount stronger โ whether you join, give, or lend an hour. It all lands on our kids. Every Child. One Voice. Go Firebirds! ๐ฅ
CAMPBELL-DEANE SCHOLARSHIP
Class of 2026 Applications must be received by Friday, April 17, 2026.
The Fairmount Elementary School PTA is again offering the CAMPBELL-DEANE SCHOLARSHIP for $2,500.00 for tuition to be awarded to one high school senior selected by our committee. This scholarship is available to any high school senior who has been enrolled at Fairmount Elementary School for three years or more, has a satisfactory grade standing, a strong citizenship record, and experience in community service.
We want to emphasize that this scholarship is specifically intended for young individuals with a strong record of citizenship and positive community service experiences. Scholastic standing is important, but not the determining factor.
This scholarship is for any college or trade school of the recipient's choice.
The scholarship is not available to persons receiving full or substantial scholarships, unless the need is imperative.
Interested applicants should:
1. Apply with a letter only. The letter of application should include plans for higher education and career, the name of the college or trade school you plan to attend, school and community activities, and any other relevant information. Please, don’t include pictures.
2. Include a copy of your high school transcript with GPA (a 1st-semester senior transcript is acceptable), a letter of recommendation from your high school counselor or teacher, and any other pertinent letters of recommendation.
3. Provide your address, phone number, the dates you attended Fairmount, and the names of teachers from the last three years of attendance.
Email your application letter and attachments to: scholarship@fairmountpta.org
