π Proudly serving our Firebirds in Golden, Colorado. We're your all-volunteer PTA β a 501(c)(3) partnering with families, teachers and staff to make every child's potential a reality.
Here's how this year's budget breaks down.
Wondering why we ask you to join and to give? Your $22 membership doesn't buy the field trip. It buys the organization that makes the field trip possible β the legal standing, the insurance, the volunteers, the vote. Then the other 95% of our budget pays for the trip.
Every family makes Fairmount stronger β whether you join, give, or lend an hour. It all lands on our kids. Every Child. One Voice. Go Firebirds! π₯
Fairmount Goes ALL IN
♠ About the Event
This year, we're trading the golf course for an evening of dinner, drinks, casino games, a Silent Auction, a Live Auction, a 50/50 raffle, a photo booth, prizes and plenty of time to connect with other Fairmount parents.
We're also excited to welcome Vic Lombardi, who will help kick off the evening!
PTA membership is not required to attend.
Gather your friends, dress up, enjoy dinner and drinks, try your luck at the tables, bid on something special and spend the evening with fellow Fairmount parents — all while supporting our school.
Think Vegas, not PTA meeting.
π° Fundraising
Fund Fairmount First consolidates many of the smaller requests families have historically received throughout the year, including:
- Classroom party supplies
- Stock the Fridge
- Testing-week treats
- Grade-level event snacks
- Other small classroom and student needs
This year, it replaces the golf tournament held in previous years. It is not an additional major fundraiser being added to the calendar.
- π Campus security improvements
- π³ Expanded playground shade
- π§Ί Picnic tables and outdoor gathering spaces
- 𧩠Indoor recess kits for classrooms
- π Scholarships for Fairmount alumni
- Other PTA-supported programs, experiences and needs throughout the year
We raise revenue from several sources throughout the year and pay expenses against the approved budget as they arise. Rather than holding each fundraiser's proceeds in a separate account for a specific expense, all funds support the overall budget.
